The GFWC Hampton Rapids Jr. Woman’s Club was organized in August 2006. We have a wonderful group of women who have a lot of fun and, through volunteering, make big contributions to our community and world.

Highlights of Club Projects
Highlights for the club over the past 10 years include donating pediatric bags to the Hampton Fire/Rescue Department; monetary donations for park benches and a picnic table at local children’s parks; planting of two trees in a children’s park; plantings to beautify the Welcome Signs in Rapids City and Hampton; collecting and donating items to Jason’s Box and Boatsie’s Boxes for overseas service personnel; donations and Christmas gifts to Rick’s House of Hope, InTouch Adult Day Care, and Winnie’s Place, a shelter for victims of domestic abuse; donations to local food pantries; organizing Art in Action craft programs for family groups; Adopt-
